ForceCheck

ForceCheck gauges from TAC Rockford are for preventive maintenance on machine tools, such as the power draw-bar spindle interface, chucks/turning-centers, and other machining applications. Since some spindles and turning-centers are standard, and other force measuring requirements might be unique, we offer an expansive product line of gauges to suit the needs for anyone in the machine tool industry.

Wired Drawbar Force Gauges

Tool clamping force is often never measured after a machine is put into service. Regular verification allows problems to be detected early so maintenance and repairs can be scheduled.

Wireless Drawbar Force Gauges

The ForceCheck wireless drawbar force gauge is based on the same technology as the industry-leading ForceCheck gauge. With the added convenience of wireless operation, larger machines and hard-to-reach spindles are easier to check.

Chuck Force Gauges

Turning-center force sensors are designed to measure the holding force of clamp jaws on chucks. This allows manufacturers to make critical adjustments, and improve repeatability and workpiece quality. The wireless version of the chuck force gauge is able to measure RPM along with force.

Collet Force Gauges

Optimize Grip and maximize Consistency. ForceCheck Collet Force Gauges take the guesswork out of workholding. By accurately measuring clamping force, you can prevent tool slippage, reduce scrap on thin-wall parts, and maintain strict tolerance compliance. Available for standard collets (3C, 5C, 16C, TF, ER, TD) and hydraulic tool holders.
